1. We can offer a sounding board for you and your ideas. We want to
know what has worked for you and what hasn’t.
2 Continuing education resources. We have a list of local seminars
and workshops.
3. Encourage networking. Share information and client handouts
between clinics as permitted by employers.
We believe that many of us want the same things.
1. We want to promote animal health by educating the public. We will
provide an on-line public education newsletter with a FAQ site. Later
we can “take the show on the road.” Go to classrooms, or other public
venues. We can reach the people where it counts.
2. We want the public to understand what we do. We will start by
providing information on the different positions held in a
veterinary health care team, and how important each team member
is to a pet’s well being.
3. We want continuing education that interests us. We can work with the
CVMA to develop beneficial seminars. Later we can have our
members host continuing education seminars in their specialty areas.
